July 4th in Nashville - AHmazing!

While life on 30A is a dream, we know that everyone likes to explore as well and that includes traveling to see how things go elsewhere.  If you're doing that during the summer and need somewhere to visit during July 4th, we highly recommend checking out Nashville, TN.  We can just about guarantee the fireworks display is like nothing you've ever seen... or experienced.  Yes, it's an experience.  As you sit on 1st Avenue just above Broadway, you gaze across the river at the stadium waiting for everything to come to life... well, more than it has already because there's usually an associated 2-day party that draws about 400,000 people.  You hear the first "thonk" from the shell launching and you're wondering where it'll appear.  The huge burst lights the sky, and from that point onward in Nashville, you better secure your seatbelt because it's doing to be a rowdy ride.  Your ENTIRE body experiences the show.  You see it.  You hear it.  You feel it.  It is simply unbelievable.  For about 30 minutes, your senses don't really know how to interpret everything going on, and when that last shell pops you're almost speechless because you've just seen one of the most amazing things you'll ever see in your lifetime.

Here's a peek from on of the local news networks, and keep in mind that this is from a distance.  In person, you're only a few blocks from the launch pad.  Uh-mazing!!!  Put it on your bucket list.

If you can't watch the entire show, be absolutely sure you see from about the 25-minute mark when they start throttling it up.  And yes, turn up the volume.
